There is so much more on hen houses by bloggers out there too, I thought these posts really stood out. There's some beautiful inspiration and some basic tips for the beginners here:

I do have chickens and I love them. We just built a new stationary coop and the girls are VERY happy ;-)
Oh! Those coops are all gorgeous! I would love to have chickens some day! Have fun getting ready for yours!
Heather thank you so much for including our coop in your post. That's very kind of you. I've checked out some of the others as well - there's some great ideas here.
What interesting structures - some are so charming. We keep chickens and in the last two days have lost two of them in broad daylight. The raccoons are very bold this year and are wandering about during the day.
Thanks Heather!! I leave inspired as ALWAYS!
Oh. My. Goodness. I LOVE that chicken coop...can you even call it that? Looks like a chicken mansion!!! Stunning!
Thanks so much for stopping by BPPackages today! :)
Oh Wow! We're thinking of getting chickens this spring and have been looking at different styles of coops, but Evie is right...I haven't seen a mansion like THIS!
What a buffet of great concepts and info! I had chickens as a girl and am determined to have a lovely coop filled with hens join my family. I'm truly inspired. Thanks!!
Heather, thanks so much for linking up to my blog post!
