Decorating with suitcases, especially mismatched vintage ones are very popular right now! They do look great stacked creating an extra table or just for storage - and they can be inexpensive too. Here are some of my favorite ideas for decorating with suitcases while travelling around the blogs:
Catie's Corner: pack your bags... - inspiring ideas
Red Hen Home: making an entrance - suitcases into shelves
Max & Fodder: vintage suitcase dog bed - it's adorable!
Mamie Jane's: vintage suitcase clock - fabulous idea
Jennifer Rizzo: some living room rearranging - how to stack them
Maple & Magnolia: upcycled luggage and a contest - transformed with plaid
Renewing Your Find Cafe: well traveled trunk... - decoupaged with wheels

I love these ideas. I actually have used old luggage in my decoration as well. If you're interested in checking it out, it is in a post entitled "My Old Kentucky Home". Thanks for the post, and Happy New Year!
Thanks for including my suitcase wall in your list! I have a few other suitcases waiting for projects, so I'll be checking out the others!
Oh how I love that look!

Thanks for linking!!! I think old suitcases are some of the best storage ever!
I just love this picture! I was cleaning out my attic and found my grandmother's old suitcase. Too cute, it has her three initials on the front.
I decorate with old suitcases too, most of which I have purchased for $5 or less. I love this shelf system, now If I can just get my husband to make it for me, ha! Thanks, Sue
I love the suitcases in that photo... turning them into a chest of drawers looks fantastic.
I LOVE old suitcases. Don't own a single one, though.
Love the blog, love your design sense... following! {and just wish I'd spotted your "Blog critique" linky sooner!}
