A pelmet box is a fabric covered valance window treatment. They can be used to make your window look taller and they add a classic tailored look while hiding the curtain hardware. They can also be made without any sewing or major tools involved too! Christina at No. 29 Design sent me her pelmet box tutorial just recently and doesn't her window look gorgeous? Here is her pelmet box tutorial and some others I came across:

What a terrific idea instead of a loose fitting Roman shade (which was my original plan for my bathroom window).
I still haven't done the About Me project - been a bit of a busy week. Haven't forgotten about it and hope to get to it today or tomorrow. Thanks.

I love this one, Heather. I have a guest room with a dormer window and this idea would work perfectly in that small space.
