Wow, I may have to borrow this idea! I've been wanting blinds for my kitchen windows but don't like that plain look. I have loads of stencils and full stash of paints and brushes. I also might add a fringe on the bottom to match my lamp shades.

Gorgeous window shade! I'd have never thought to stencil a simple roller shade like that. Not really as crafty as I used to be but I might just have to try this one!

I made an attempt to stencil, but the stencil itself was too crappy. I need some help with which tools to use. The girl at the store was not so smart and led me to purchase the wrong things... or maybe i'm not so smart. New linky follower Not Your Ordinary Recipes

These are great ideas - thanks for all the links! I've been dying to try a stencilled faux wallpaper in my house but with tongue & groove walls it isn't going to work - oh well! :)

I've never ventured into stenciling. But, seeing your blinds and the wonderful tutorials you listed, I think I want to try it. I have some totally boring blinds that could use some help.
