project: slipcovers

DIY slipcover tutorials
{Bibbidi Bobbidi Beautiful}
Slipcovers are fitted fabric covers made for pieces of furniture. They instantly update and give a tailored look to chairs and other upholstered furniture and they are great because most of them can be removed for cleaning or for seasonal changes. These bloggers here have posted their tutorials and inspiration:

Hi Heather -

Thanks for linking to my quilt slipcover post. I am not the greatest sewer, but they came out very well, despite my lack of real sewing skills. I am going to check out the other links.

Enjoy your weekend.

My best- Diane

I love Teal & Lime's post because I have parsons chairs that I often think about making new slip covers for. I bought them at Caban years ago and the chairs were all mismatched patterns but nothing a slip cover couldn't cover so now I would like to make more ....... or er get someone else to..

Yay! This is very nice. Great way to come up with an elegant set up that will be very flexible with the occasion at a lot cheaper price. Thanks for sharing. :)
