DIY grasscloth ideas
{Twenty2}

Grasscloth was a popular wallcovering in the 60's and 70's and it's making a big comeback! It was a wallpaper made to look like woven plant fibres giving a natural, texture look. There are many weaves and colours now to choose from and many different ways to use it too: from lining pieces of furniture to covering a room floor to ceiling. Have a peek at these ideas and inspiration for ways to incorporate a little - or a lot - of grasscloth into your decor:

I think I might have just found my solution to then entry way I was going to paint it a darker color due to hand prints as everyone kicks their shoes off but this might work better so I won't have to go dark thank you for the idea.

I remember growing up we had grass cloth all in our hallway and on the walls coming down the stairs. Personally, I love the stuff. Maybe cause it's really cool or just that it brings back childhood memories of trying to peel it off the wall. No, really, I love it.

Like Tracey, we lived in a house that had this in the hall. I've noticed it in a couple of homes, I've shot, recently. Looks pretty great! I really love that chair in the first pic too. ;)
