Do you mix patterns in your home decor? Layering with patterns increase the drama and depth of a space. There are some rules to follow (or not) once you've picked out your colour scheme and how many colours that consists of. You'll have to think about your prints such as florals, solids, stripes, and geometrics and using your print or texture as a starting point to see which colours stand out or play well with each other.
