Slipcovers are fitted fabric covers made for pieces of furniture. They instantly update and give a tailored look to chairs and other upholstered furniture and they are great because most of them can be removed for cleaning or for seasonal changes. I think that one of the easiest and yet very effective DIYs are chairs. Starting with some paint and fabric and going from there the chair can be transformed to suit any decor.
