chair makeovers
{Anthropologie}

Here's a fabulous roundup of DIY chairs posted by bloggers! If you click on the links you'll go to the tutorials. Many of the chair makeovers here started as free roadside finds - and it's amazing what they've done to them. Do any of these inspire you to DIY a chair? Let me know and now go ahead, take a seat:

City Farmhouse: trash pickin transformation - they turned out gorgeous too!

Thrifty Inspirations: nautical seating {a thrifty chair} - looks great in blue

Ugly Ducking Transformations: grain sack rocking chair - beautiful paint job!

Nine Red: school of restoration - ombre accent chair

Mr. Kate: DIY trash to treasure statement chair - so cool with the branches

Jennifer's Mentionables: old chairs with a French twist - recovering seats

HaHa Bird: the big chair - building your own

My Poppet: how to: cross stitch chair - on a woven cane web chair found on the side of the road

I can see these chairs are all smiling because they got a makeover and all of them found new homes. Love the first two white cane dining chairs.
